Giacomo Giorgi and Agnese Giancoli were both were born in the small town of Boveglio in the Tuscany region of Italy. They spent their life together in the farming town of Healdsburg, California where they raised a family. You can read about their immigration story here.

Giacomo’s parents, Giacinto Giorgi and Daria Ferrari, were also born in Boveglio, as were all of their nine children.
Agnese’s family was a little more complicated. Her mother, Veronica Pacini first married Agnese’s father, Giuseppe Giancoli. After his death, Veronica married Giovanni Lucchesi who had also been widowed and had a daughter close in age to Agnese. Veronica and Giovanni had three more children together.
