I first began researching my family in 1994. Since then I have had many frustrating days and many wondrous discoveries. I have come to understand that family is not limited to those with whom we share DNA, but also includes friends, acquaintances, and neighbors, even beloved pets. Finding out that my ancestors included brave pioneers and timid stay-at-homes, as well as upstanding citizens and ne’er-do-wells has been quite an education and has provided a fascinating context for who I am now. This is my way of sharing some of the stories of the people I have found and of the adventures I have enjoyed along the journey. Please look around and let me know what you think.
